What’s New

We have rolled out a few updates this week to improve the research experience on Plotwise.

AI Powered Online Research Summaries

Every parcel report now includes a new Online Research Summary section. This feature uses artificial intelligence to scan the web for relevant information, including news articles, social media posts, and public documents connected to the parcel you are viewing. While AI may occasionally miss the mark, it often surfaces valuable details that would otherwise take hours to uncover.

To view one, open the Plotwise map, select a parcel, open Parcel information, and choose View parcel report.

Expanded Public Documents

We have added more public documents to our reports, especially materials that are difficult to find, such as land rate information for Mombasa and several other counties. These documents are automatically included in your parcel report when available.

What’s Next

We know that valuation estimates are not yet perfect. Access to reliable comparable sales data in Kenya is limited, but we are actively exploring ways to improve accuracy and build more confidence into the process.

We are also working to fill gaps in cadastral data, particularly for counties that do not yet have digitized records. It is a long-term effort, but we are making steady progress.
